last winter...

6th May - Well it's feeling like the end of the Winter now, with Grands Montets closing this week. However, despite the fact it is May, we have had some fantastic last minute dumps of snow which has let us ride a metre of fresh powder this week. The snow has been sticking nicely onto the steeper terrain and we have managed to get into some of the classic Chamonix lines. I've really enjoyed skiing the Igneous skis this season, go to the links page to check out their website, movie and find out what they're about. It's been a great Winter and we hope to see you all again next season - it's never too early to get in touch, so we look forward to hearing from you soon, cheers Simon.

3rd April - We've been enjoying the fresh snow this week - a mixture of Foehn wind and rising temperatures has affected the snowpack - but there is good snow off-piste when you find it. Take advantage of the great Winter conditions and come Ski touring this April/early May. We are taking bookings for this Summer - with some availability left in August and September - contact us soon.

23rd March - Powder Alert - We’ve been enjoying some fantastic weather over the last couple of weeks allowing us to do some great day and hut touring in lovely snow conditions. However, as this season keeps proving, it’s time for another top up of snow. A large depression tracking in from the North West is promising to drop a heavy snowfall in the Chamonix area tonight, with the freezing level dropping to 500m and expected snowfall at 2000m expected to be in excess of 80cm, the Winter season is not over yet and will keep us ski-touring into May, contact us for Custom Private Guiding both for Off Piste and Ski Touring.
