Igneous started with the concept of making the worlds fastest powder ski back in 1993 and have now been making beautiful handmade custom skis and snowboards for the last 20+ years. Since 1965 the IFMGA has existed to promote a uniform professional training scheme amongst it’s members. Many years of experience are required to be accepted as a candidate. It then takes a minimum of three years to attain full membership of the IFMGA. This period covers practical training and assessment in Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing, Alpine Mountaineering, Off Piste Skiing and Ski Mountaineering and theoretical examinations in associated subjects.
